A call for assistance, can anyone help me add to this list of scriptures that help explain what faith is?

THE “WHAT” OF FAITH

New Testament, faith is receiving, believing, and acting on the knowledge of God’s desire for man’s salvation and a way to appropriate God’s desires as they are revealed in the Gospel by the Holy Spirit.

Faith is Access

            (Romans 5:2 KJV) By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Faith is Assurance

            (Hebrews 10:22 KJV) Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

Faith is Authored

            (Hebrews 12:2 KJV) Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Faith is a Breastplate

            (1 Thessalonians 5:8 KJV) But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

Faith is Confidence (reality)

            (Hebrews 11:1 YLT) And faith is of things hoped for a confidence, of matters not seen a                     conviction,

Faith is Conviction

            (Hebrews 11:1 WNT) Now faith is a well-grounded assurance of that for which we hope, and a conviction of the reality of things which we do not see.

Faith is a Door

            (Acts 14:27 KJV) And when they were come, and had gathered the church together, they rehearsed all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles.

Faith is Evidence

            (Hebrews 11:1 KJV) Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

(Hebrews 11:1 AMP) NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].

Faith is a Fight

            (1 Timothy 6:12 KJV) Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

Faith can Grow

(2 Corinthians 10:15 KJV) Not boasting of things without our measure, that is, of other men’s labours; but having hope, when your faith is increased, that we shall be enlarged by you according to our rule abundantly,

Faith is Health

            (Titus 1:13 KJV) This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound (in HEALTH) in the faith;

Faith is Joy

            (Philippians 1:25 KJV) And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith

 Faith is a Law

            (Romans 3:27 KJV) Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

Faith is Measurable

            (Romans 12:3 KJV) For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

            (Matthew 8:26 KJV) And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

            (Matthew 8:10 KJV) When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

            (Romans 4:19 KJV) And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb:

            (Romans 4:20 KJV) He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faithgiving glory to God;

Faith is a Pleaser (to gratify entirely)

            (Hebrews 11:6 KJV) But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Faith is Prayer

(James 5:15 KJV) And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him

Faith is Righteousness

            (Romans 4:13 KJV) For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

            (Romans 9:30 KJV) What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith.

 (Romans 10:6 KJV) But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)

Faith is a Sheild

            (Ephesians 6:16 KJV) Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Faith Speaks

          (Romans 10:6 KJV) But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)

Faith is a Spirit

            (2 Corinthians 4:13 KJV) We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

Faith is Substance

            (Hebrews 11:1 KJV) Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

(Hebrews 11:1 AMP) NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].

Faith is a Transmitter (a conduit, a channel)

            (Hebrews 11:3 KJV) Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Faith is TheWord (of God)

            (Romans 10:8 KJV) But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

Faith is a Work

            (2 Thessalonians 1:11 KJV) Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
