The very reason that we should attend church service is to prepare the soil of our hearts by hearing and attending to the word of God which are the words of the Kingdom of God. It is through our attending to God’s Word that we define the boundaries of our lives. If we desire greater health and wealth, we listen to the word of God purposefully. Our desire is to be led by the Spirit of God through the Word of God. We learn that if we will let the word of God pour into our hearts the Word of God will pour out of our mouths bringing forth an abundant harvest of the God quality of life filled with health and wealth. This is God’s highest desire for you.
3Jn 1:2 KJV Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
Pro 4:20-23 GW My son, pay attention to my words. Open your ears to what I say. 21 Do not lose sight of these things. Keep them deep within your heart 22 because they are life to those who find them and they heal the whole body. 23 Guard your heart more than anything else, because the source of your life flows from it.
Guard your heart above everything because God’s Word says we expand our lives or limit our lives by what we allow to enter our heart. Satan wants you to set limits and restrict your understanding of the word of the “Kingdom of God” to keep you from living the good life God has recreated you to live.
Eph 2:10 AMP For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].
The very first words believers need to attend to are the scriptures relating to God’s love for us and how through His grace He has blessed mankind with His very own righteousness in Christ Jesus. God has promised us that it is His love for us (not our love for Him) that will control us so that we can live the good life He recreated us to live.
2Co 5:14-15 AMP For the love of Christ controls and urges and impels us, because we are of the opinion and conviction that [if] One died for all, then all died; 15 And He died for all, so that all those who live might live no longer to and for themselves, but to and for Him Who died and was raised again for their sake.
Eph 2:7-8 KJV 7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
2Co 5:21 AMP 21 For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness].
