God promised that as long as we are here on the earth we would have the system of sowing and reaping to supply our need.
Gen 8:22 AMP While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
In the New Testament God promises that if you are willing to be a sower He will supply the seed and insure you have a harvest and food to eat. The seed that God wants you to sow is his Word.
2Co 9:10 AMP And [God] Who provides seed for the sower and bread for eating will also provide and multiply your [resources for] sowing and increase the fruits of your righteousness [which manifests itself in active goodness, kindness, and charity]. [Isa. 55:10; Hos. 10:12.]
Luk 8:11 AMP Now the meaning of the parable is this: The seed is the Word of God.
1Co 3:6-7 AMP I planted, Apollos watered, but God [all the while] was making it grow and [He] gave the increase. 7 So neither he who plants is anything nor he who waters, but [only] God Who makes it grow and become greater.
Adam lost control of the God given system of sowing and reaping when Adam bowed his knee to Satan. Mankind was told that no longer would he be able to speak the word of God to produce a harvest.
Gen 3:17-19 AMP And to Adam He said, Because you have listened and given heed to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, saying, You shall not eat of it, the ground is under a curse because of you; in sorrow and toil shall you eat [of the fruits] of it all the days of your life. 18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth for you, and you shall eat the plants of the field. 19 In the sweat of your face shall you eat bread until you return to the ground, for out of it
you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you shall return.
God restored mankind to a place of authority on the earth through our Lord Jesus.
Joh 3:16-17 KJV For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
