2. Select the seed (God’s Word) that will produce the harvest you desire. God has promised that his word would never return to him without producing or prospering in His purpose for which He spoke.

Isa 55:11 AMP So shall My word be that goes forth out of my mouth : it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

God’s word in your mouth is as powerful as it was in God’s mouth and will bring forth a harvest when mixed with unwavering faith.

1Th 2:13 BBE And for this cause we still give praise to God, that, when the word came to your ears through us, you took it, not as the word of man, but, as it truly is, the word of God, which has living power in you who have faith.

The book of Hebrews warns us that the Word of God will not work in our lives if we fail to mix His word with faith.

Heb 4:2 KJV For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard [it].

The word of God promises us that if we speak God’s word in faith He hears us and if we know that He hears us we can be confident that we will receive the requested harvest we desire.

1Jn 5:14-15 KJV And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

3. God’s plan for sowing (planting) His Word is best illustrated in the epistle to the Romans chapter 10, verses eight thru ten and in the epistle to the Ephesians chapter 2 verses eight and nine.

Rom 10:8-10 KJV But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, [even] in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Eph 2:8-9 KJV For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

4. God’s word is sown in your heart when you speak and hear God’s Word. It is through the grace of God that we receive salvation, a gift of God. Our salivation contains all the blessings of God. Our Father God sowed Jesus so we could have the harvest of blessings. All we have to do is freely receive the harvest.

Jas 1:17 Murdock Every good and perfect gift cometh down from above, from the Father of lights, with whom is no mutation, not even the shadow of change.

Rom 8:32 KJV He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
