Eph 5:25 KJV Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

1Co 13:4-8 KJV 4 Charity suffereth long, [and] is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. 8 “ Charity never faileth:. . . .”

God-modeled love so you could model His Love to a lost and dying world.

Joh 13:35 KJV By this shall all [men] know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

2Co 3:2-3 ASV Ye are our epistle, written in our hearts, known and read of all men; 3 being made manifest that ye are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in tables that are hearts of flesh.

2Co 3:18 ASV But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord the Spirit.

Eph 5:1-2 AMP THEREFORE BE imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father]. 2 And walk in love, [esteeming and delighting in one another] as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us, a slain offering and sacrifice to God [for you, so that it became] a sweet fragrance. [Ezek. 20:41.]

You have the ability to love because God first loved you. God gave you the ability to love and told us to minister this love to each other. We minister God’s love to each other so the world will believe in Jesus and know that God sent Jesus into the world to save the world.

1Jn 4:19 ASV We love, because he first loved us.

1Pe 1:22 MSG Now that you’ve cleaned up your lives by following the truth, love one another as if your lives depended on it.

Joh 13:34-35 KJV A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. 35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

Joh 17:23 KJV I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

God’s Love is so intense, so glorious, so wonderful that His Love for us will control us so we can live the lives He predestined us to live. He predestined us to be just like Jesus and as we focus on His Love and Grace we are change into the very image of our Lord.

Rom 8:28-30 KJV And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
