2Co 3:18 AMP And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.

2Co 5:14-15 AMP For the love of Christ controls and urges and impels us, because we are of the opinion and conviction that [if] One died for all, then all died; 15 And He died for all, so that all those who live might live no longer to and for themselves, but to and for Him Who died and was raised again for their sake.

We want to understand that it is God’s love that controls us and not our love for Him! His Love for us never fails while our love can fail, His love for us will never fail. And His Grace will teach us to live the life our heart cries out to live.

1Co 13:8 CEV Love never fails! Everyone who prophesies will stop, and unknown languages will no longer be spoken. All that we know will be forgotten.

1Jn 4:8 KJV He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

1Jn 4:16 KJV And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

The reason that love never fails is because God is Love, and because of God’s love for us He has given us His Grace to save us and teach us to be partakers of His divine nature through the knowledge of His love and grace.

Eph 2:8 KJV For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Tit 2:11-12 TNIV For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. 12 It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,

In 2nd Peter, God promises to multiply His Grace in our lives through the knowledge of Him and of Jesus who embodies grace as He is grace personified.

Joh 1:17 KJV For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

2Pe 1:2 AMP May grace (God’s favor) and peace (which is perfect well-being, all necessary good, all spiritual prosperity, and freedom from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts) be multiplied to you in [the full, personal, precise, and correct] knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.

You receive a full, personal, precise and correct knowledge by doing what you are doing now, studying the Word of God and experiencing the love of God. It is through the knowledge of God and His love for you that you become a partaker of His divine nature.

2Pe 1:4 WNT It is by means of these that He has granted us His precious and wondrous promises, in order that through them you may, one and all, become sharers in the very nature of God, having completely escaped the corruption which exists in the world through earthly cravings.
